Paul Tait recently visited Colchester to capture images of a young basketball team there.

He said he first stumbled across the location when he was on a job in the area and it gave him an idea to organise a shoot based around the similar colours of the deep red of the curtains and the deep red of the basketball.

After a bit of researching and couple of phone calls Paul was able to set up a shoot on a Saturday morning and with a bit of direction he captured these relaxed reportage images.

Paul has been concentrating on colour recently in an ongoing personal project about the subject. He says that this shoot feels like a nice continuation on that project, and feels that his more abstract personal images concentrating solely on colour are now informing his commercial work.
