Tell us a bit about yourself:

Hey I’m Chloe! I’m 27 and I love food, I adore gardening/ flowers/ plants/ outsideyness in general and I do like a good stroll. (Photography too of course)

How did you get into the photography industry?

I studied photography at Bournemouth Arts Uni then have found myself working in all sorts of areas of the arts industry, I was first an Artist in Residence at a specialist music school, then I worked in fine art shipping whilst assisting photographers and producers on set and teaching craft workshops. All over the place, I know.

What’s your favourite commission from an LPA photographer?

I think of course it has to be a food related series for me and I think the Great British Chefs Cookbook shot by Tim Atkins looks both outrageously decadent, rustic and delectable all rolled into one!

And your favourite personal project?

Again, I’m ashamed to say it’s a food related project but I think Andy Smiths’ ‘Eat’ project has a documentary essay style that I am really drawn to.

Describe yourself in 3 words:

Enthusiastic, Proactive, Approachable.

What’s your dream holiday destination?

Amazingly, I have already been there and it was South America, next on my list is Vietnam! Fingers crossed!

Tell us something about you that we don’t know?

I can’t stand thinly sliced meats or sausage ends.

Who is your favourite non LPA photographer?

There are far too many I couldn’t possibly choose. Taryn Simon does have a special place in my creative/visual heart though.

What’s the best piece of advice anyone has ever given you?

I’m notoriously bad for taking advice but I would always say to do as many things as you can, have as many experiences as possible, but do remember to have a sit down and a cup of tea eventually.
