LPA Futures / Imogen Forte / Bridgeman Studio Award

LPA Futures winner Imogen Forte added to her impressive list of awards recently by winning the Bridgeman Studio Award!

Part of the prize was a commission to shoot an image for the official art bag of the London and New York Affordable Art Fair. She shot this image on a Cuban beach on expired coloured Lomography film which gives the image it’s beautiful and unusual colours.

She also won exhibition space at both fairs, where she showed additional work from Cuba alongside images from a recent trip to Norway where she visited a town that gets no direct sunlight for six months!

She'll also be featuring in the Bridgeman Editions exhibition, appearing alongside iconic artists including Damien Hirst and Peter Blake.
