POP UP AGENT / HAYDON PERRIOR / FLIPPERS

Skrrrrting into weekend like…

It was an absolute pleasure to assist photographer Haydon Perrior via our Pop Up Agent service. Haydon came to us asking for help with negotiating fees for this fabulous campaign. This shoot for the legendary Flippers (where did I put my flares) was commissioned through Broadwick Live for the NYC launch. Very cool to see that a montage of them were on display at the Rockefeller Centre and in the windows at Saks on Fifth Avenue, New York!

The client’s brief was simple: a time, a place, a mood board and a few buzzwords… and it was so nice and refreshing to firstly, receive such an open-ended brief, and secondly, to have full creative control from a client who trusts that the photographer knows what they’re doing and can just be left to it. Shooting in this way makes things so much more fun as I was free to be myself, experiment with new ideas and just explore different ways of working, resulting in these images that were so far from my aesthetic at the time. And to then see them plastered around the Rockefeller Centre and in Saks’ window displays was mega!
