I’ve been asked to do a talk by the lovely people at LIoP (London Institute of Photography) as part of their show at Free Range. LloP run a variety of flexible courses and workshops for aspiring professional photographers, from all backgrounds and levels, at their base in London’s Shoreditch.

My talk will reveal all about agents, what we do and how to get one. I’m going to be giving my view on when the time is right to get an agent, and how to get noticed by one. Anyone welcome, you don’t need to be an LloP student.

I’m also going to be running a little photography competition open to anyone that buys a ticket to the talk. The photographer who submits an image that I think will grab the attention of an agent the most, will receive signed copies of both my books ( on making it as a photographer), in an LPA tote bag! The entries will be shown and the winner will be announced on the night. It’s a only a bit of fun, but I’m an agent and love a bit of small print, so here are the competition terms…

You are not obliged to enter the competition just because you are attending the talk.

Criteria: Simply enter an image that you think will grab the attention of an agent.  (nothing rude or offensive please!)
