Ask an Agent / Snow in Summer?

Dear Ask an Agent,

I’ve had an enquiry for a great lifestyle shoot but they’re asking about snowy scenes! As it’s nearly June then I’m not sure what to do – help!

Hi Christina,

Thanks for your email – sounds like a great shoot. Depending on client budget, you could look at shooting that leg of the shoot overseas. Areas of Chile and Argentina for example have snow from mid-June onwards so it could be a great idea to shoot there. However this really depends on your budget –it’s not going to be cheap!

Alternatively if you shoot in the UK, there are specialist companies who provide snow for the film, TV and photography industries. One of the best is Snow Business. They have a huge range of products and services, ranging from a small flurry to a full on blizzard!
