Michael Heffernan's superb photographic skills and appreciation of the natural world have taken him to many wild and wonderful places, shooting for Lonely Planet Magazine. His recent voyage to Alaska produced these evocative and calming landscape shots, perfect for the magazine's wanderlust clientele. These poetic images of the open road traverse a state where wilderness still prevails, and the peace and splendour of the natural world reigns supreme. Michael is also currently out on another shoot with Lonely Planet - in Brazil enjoying the sun and odd helicopter ride!
