Michael Whelan/Moscow shoot

Not long ago, LPA Futures photographer Michael Whelan traveled to Moscow to shoot some personal work. 'The basic premise of my mini-project was to follow the Moscow Boulevard Ring Road along the old industrial routes. I wanted to see how Muscovites have been transforming the suburbs into commercial opportunities by building facilities for both tourists and locals.'

The final images are a collection of beautiful landscapes and portraits with subtle colours and hues. Fantastic work Michael!
